what is hypocrisy?

Hypocrisy was everywhere in my day and is even more so present in your day. It is a sad fact, but is the truth. Hypocrisy lies at the root of all evil. Hypocrisy is easy to identify. It is an interesting phenomenon to observe. I hope we can all learn to recognize hypocrisy in our own lives and change. One may say they are blameless. But everyone, no matter how righteous, has said or done something hypocritical without even knowing it. People of my day and age seemed to believe their wisdom was greater than any others', this is hypocrisy. Look for it and change. It is the only way to find truth today and be a truly righteous individual. Look at your reflection and ask yourself, am I a hypocrite?

3. what is gratitude?

I ask everyone of this day and age, what is gratitude? How do people today express their gratitude? How important is it to people today to express your gratitude? It seems that most have lost the desire to express their gratitude. But, ironically, there is much truth to be learned from expressing our gratitude. How important it is. Because when one, expresses their thanksgiving, he or she will feel a great sense of joy. In that joy lies a small piece of truth that usually goes unrecognized. I will leave it to you to experience and identify yourselves, but it all begins with looking upward for answers, not to your own mind.

2. a never ending road.

Each day we go through the motions to achieve, to simply do out of obligation, to care for loved ones, and so much more. So where does this seemingly never ending road end. Does it end? One must look upward to the heavens for this answer. Truth is only found through a question and a sincere desire to learn. I believe this life will end at some point, but there is much more beyond this life we are unaware of.

1. what is wisdom?

I once was asked, "Who is the wisest man in Athens?" I honestly did not know, and in complete determination I set out to find the wisest man in Athens. The Oracle stated I, Socrates was the wisest man in Athens. I knew this was absolutely impossible, so I set out on a search. To my surprise I found, the Oracle could have been correct because every man in Athens attempted to defend and elevate his knowledge in an effort to make himself seem the wisest of all. I have not been present for many years and so I decided to try this same experiment today. I found even more people claimed themselves to be the wisest man in Athens. Pride is even more prevalent today. How sad this makes me. Every conversation I had, I was able to show that person he or she was not the wisest person in the world. All I did was question. Something I think people these days need to learn to do more of. We must look upward to find true wisdom.

remember.

My teachings from 470-399 b.c. are undeniably relevant today. I hope anyone who stumbles upon this site, will take the time to read with a humble heart and recognize my teachings are extremely important. Only those who sincerely care will recognize this fact and experience true happiness. Considering I was an anti-philosopher of my time that nobody cared to lend an ear to, I hope that just a few of you will read this and I will be able to make a small difference today. I dedicated my life to searching for the truth. I think there is much you can learn from me if you simply open your heart. Please comment, below on anything you agree or disagree with. I hope my thoughts will once again spark discussion that will lead us to even greater discovery of life and the truth behind all things.
